Marc Ford

Marc has been involved in competitive team sports since he was 12 years old. He played professional cricket and AFL back in Melbourne until he was 28. His interest in strength training led him towards body-building and strength training in his 30’s. Marc moved to Queensland in 2002 and began coaching more functional fitness and boxing outside of his corporate work. Over the last 15 years he’s taken nearly 6,000 group classes and 30,000 PT sessions. His ultimate passions are people, food and fitness. The new group fitness platform at nuckle will be his stage to unite, empower and challenge the greater community.

Bella Ford

Bella Ford

Bella’s career in fitness started early with a passion for contemporary and classical dance which she later studied at university. She is a qualified boxing coach and one of Brisbane’s most demanded female instructors, building lean and toned physiques for the past 10 years. In addition to her coaching, Bella has extensive experience in Arts Management, Producing and Marketing having held senior roles in many major cultural events and festivals. These skills directly transfer to the administrative and communications aspects of the business.

Katie McGrath

Katie McGrath

Katie is one of our home-grown. Her motivation to pursue a fitness career began a little differently to most. Managing her own successful business meant ultra-long hours and stress. A lack of personal time forged an unhealthy relationship with fast food and alcohol, sending her confidence, motivation and mental health spiralling downward. A change was necessary. With structure and ongoing support, working out and healthy eating no longer felt like a ‘box to tick’ but an essential way of her daily life. Katie is now qualified to help others leading similarly pressured lifestyles. “I honestly believe that anyone can achieve their ideal fitness and a stronger mindset through a change of habits, dedication and a positive support network”.

Joel Laudari

Joel Laudari

Joel has been passionate about health and fitness from a very early age, all starting with his love for all things sport. Highly competitive, at 18 he moved from playing into coaching roles for multiple junior rugby league and cricket teams across Brisbane. He developed a keen interest in coaching and helping others achieve their fitness goals. Qualified in finance and business management, Joel has balanced 6 years of his young professional life with a functional and disciplined approach to training. He’s got some power in his hands too… and looking to begin his amateur boxing career towards the end of this year.

Tay OTene
Coach

Tay OTene

Tay specialises in box-specific training: technique, footwork and fight-conditioning… effectively breaking down and making sense of the ‘sweet science’. He’s part of Glen Rushton’s elite stable of fighters in Queensland, undefeated as an amateur with a big future in front of him at 21. He’s trained adolescents through to the elderly. His clients range from young amateurs breaking into the sport to some of Australia’s elite men’s boxers. He’s one of the main men and part of a select few in Jeff Horns inner sanctum. Fully certified and engineered to coach, Tay is a huge asset to our team of instructors at nuckle.
